Raees

Set in early 1980s’ Gujarat, Raees is the story of a street-smart man’s meteoric rise to become the most powerful person in the state. The unstoppable force encounters threat in the form of ACP Majmudar, a no-nonsense officer whose sole reason for existence is the elimination of crime. What ensues next is a tumultuous battle between the two, which forms a key defining element of the film’s narrative.
